There are a few systems on campus that you need to check in with regularly and know how to access. Read and click the links to access them. Get Access to all of your Course Accounts by the first week of classes. Download the quickstart .pdf. Or use the directions below:

MySUNYSullivan is SUNY Sullivans student portal. Host to all of your information including: registration, student billing, grades, financial aid, housing, acceptance, etc. You will need to use the portal periodically.

NetworkID (Username) allows you use the computers and library services on campus. Without this account setup you will have very limited access to technology on campus. The Network ID also gives you free digital storage space on campus to store your homework and classwork.

Email is another account you should know how to log into and check daily. Campus departments and instructors will communicate through email with important announcements.

Blackboard is the course management system to replace ANGEL. Log in to Blackboard at
https://bbsullivan.sln.suny.edu with your MySUNYSullivan.edu username and password. Student login will be available one week before classes begin. All of your instructors use Blackboard in varying degrees in your courses everyday. You will need to log into Blackboard daily to check messages from your instructor, download course information, submit papers, and take an online or hybrid course. OpenSUNYNavigator is searchable tool that provides information on SUNY Sullivan’s Online Course Offerings.

How to Access MY SUNY Sullivan Web Portal, SulliMail and Blackboard

Your computer account information to access MY SUNY Sullivan, SulliMail and Blackboard is usually available one week prior to the start of the semester. However, if you register just prior to the start of the semester, it may take up to 2 business days after your registration is keyed at SUNY Sullivan to access your accounts.

Step 1. Username and Password

Students who have never used MY SUNY Sullivan or SulliMail please follow the directions below:

  1. Connect to sunysullivan.edu
  2. Click on “Drop Down Menu”.
    (Located in the upper right corner next to search)

  3. Locate “Tools” grouping and click on “MY SUNY Sullivan”
    (Lower right corner”)

  4. Locate “Student Account lookup”.
    (Located in the lower right corner under “Welcome to SUNY Sullivan”)

  5. Key in student ID number, last name, and ZIP code.
    (Student ID# is located on your schedule, the printed receipt from the student billing or the SLN letter received from registration services)

  6. Click on “View AUP” and read it.
  7. Click the box in front of “I agree to the SUNY Sullivan Acceptable Use Policy”
    Your information will be displayed as shown to the right.

Copy this information and keep it in a safe place.

Step 2: Connect to MY SUNY Sullivan

  1. Connect to sunysullivan.edu
  2. Click on “Drop Down Menu” located in the upper right corner of the web page.
  3. Click on “MY SUNY Sullivan” under the “Tools” grouping.
  4. Key in your username and password in upper right corner and click on “Login”

Step 3: Connect to SulliMail

  1. Connect to sunysullivan.edu
  2. Click on “Drop Down Menu” located in the upper right corner of the web page.
  3. Click on “MY SUNY Sullivan” under the “Tools” grouping.
  4. Click on the “SulliMail” link in the lower left corner and enter your username and password.
    (Your “username followed” by the @sunysullivan.edu)
    Note that your password for your email may be different than your “My SUNY Sullivan” password.

Step 4: Connect to Blackboard SLN online courses

  1. Connect to sunysullivan.edu
  2. Click on “Drop Down Menu” located in the upper right corner of the web page.
  3. Click on “MY SUNY Sullivan” under the “Tools” grouping.
  4. Locate and click the “Blackboard” link in the lower left corner and enter your username and password.
