Coach Lang brings six years of basketball coaching and playing experience to SUNY Sullivan. During his stint as Assistant Coach at SUNY Orange (2011-2012), he helped lead Orange to a 22-9 record and was instrumental in player recruitment and in-season scouting of opponents.
Coach Lang also served as Assistant Coach for the Paul VI Catholic High School Girls Basketball team (Varsity) during its 2010-2011 championship season (the school’s 5th consecutive state title). While at Paul VI, Coach Lang also handled scouting, recruiting, and individual player development for both the Boys and Girls programs.
Coach Lang earned his bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Coastal Carolina University, where he assisted in individual player workouts for the women’s team. Before Coastal Carolina he attended SUNY Orange, where he played basketball from 2004-2006 and helped lead the Colts to a National Tournament appearance. He is from Otisville, New York and graduated from Minisink Valley High School, where he was a two year varsity athlete in basketball.
