A Beginner’s Guide to Craft Beer and Brewing: # CL001
Dates: October 3, 17, 10, 24 and November 7
$250 per person/5 sessions

Join us for a five-week beginner’s course which could be a stepping stone to becoming a novice brewer, professional brewer or going into the brew/pub industry. Participants must be 21 and over. A copy of your driver’s license must accompany this form. A minimum of 10 students is required. At the end of this class participants should be able to pass the Certified Beer Server test if desired. About our instructor: Daniel Reyman was born and raised in the Hudson Valley. He is one of about 1,300 Certified Cicerones in the country (a title given to people who pass requisite testing to prove expert knowledge in all facets of beer) and a Certified Beer Server. He has been involved with Craft Beer for almost eleven years doing private consulting work for restaurants and bars as well as managing all aspects of two Craft Beer stores for several years. Daniel currently brews with the Mill House Brewing Company in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Friday nights were never so YUM! Join us this fall and early winter in SUNY Sullivan’s culinary kitchen for a fun-filled experience under the expert instruction of Chef Andy Yeomans! In these Friday evening sessions YOU become the chef! These classes will provide the novice (and not-so-novice) home cook with hands-on participation in the preparation of mouth-watering dishes – Ingredients provided for all classes. Students will eat what they cook. Clean up is part of the instruction. Materials needed for each class: apron (optional), a paring knife, and an 8-inch chef’s knife. Minimum 8 students. (SUNY Sullivan students FREE with valid ID.)
