SUNY Sullivan is participating in the Excelsior Scholarship program – a state aid program approved under Governor Cuomo’s Free-Tuition Plan. Here are important facts about this program:

The Excelsior Scholarship is a “last dollar” award.

Students must first apply for FAFSA and for TAP. The Excelsior Scholarship will then cover the remaining balance of tuition for eligible students. For complete instructions on how to apply for FAFSA and TAP please click here: SUNY Sullivan Financial Aid

Students will need to apply for the Excelsior Scholarship.

The Higher Education Services Corporation (www.hesc.ny.gov) has the responsibility of administering the Excelsior Scholarship.
