Keynote Speaker Fran Capo

Fran Capo is an author, comedian, speaker, spokesperson and adventurer. She is dubbed the “Fast Talker Extraordinaire” by the Associated Press. In fact, Fran is the two-time Guinness Book of World Records’ fastest talking female. She has appeared on TV shows including: Good Morning America, Larry King Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, Inside Edition, ET, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Martha Stewart, CNN and more. She has performed in major comedy clubs from Dangerfield’s in NY to the Tropicana in Vegas to Okinawa for the Marines. Fran has bungee jumped, swam with sharks, flown combat aircraft, driven race cars, eaten fire & chased tornadoes. Her other world records: highest book signing—Kilimanjaro; deepest book signing—wreck site of Titanic.

Everyday Intuition
Presenter: Cris Fox Turner, Professional Intuitive Card Reader and Psychic Medium
We’ve all heard the term “Women’s Intuition.” Our intuition can help in our daily lives in many more ways than just “knowing” if a boyfriend is cheating or not! In the class, we will discuss: acknowledging and validating our own “inner knowing” to enhancing our intuitive skills, identifying subtle clues from our intuition, learning to receive and trust our messages, journaling to develop rock solid trust in our intuition and practices to incorporate in our daily lives to become an “Intuitive Super Star.”

Edible Container Gardening 101
Presenter: Kathryn Scullion, SUNY Sullivan Community Garden Coordinator
You don’t need a lot of space to grow your own herbs, vegetables, or microgreens! In this workshop participants will learn about edible plants that do well in containers, indoors or outdoors, and will plant herbs and microgreens to take home. 12 participants. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED!

Flavors from the Middle East

Middle Eastern foods are unique, with flavors that are abundant in each and every bite of an authentic meal. In this hands-on class, some wonderful Middle Eastern dishes will be showcased. Stress Relief for All

Let’s face it, life is stressful! Finding a work/life balance, dealing with health, finances—it all takes its toll. While some stress is unavoidable, there are many ways to reduce stress and tension in our lives. Soul Searching with Maggie

Vinyasa Yoga

Begin your afternoon with the gentle experience of Vinyasa yoga also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. Vinyasa is literally translated from Sanskrit which means “connection,” and is interpreted as a connection between movement of the body and breath. Maximum of 20 participants.

DIY Like a Boss!

Dreams and Vision Interpretation

Have you ever wondered what your dreams really mean? In this fascinating workshop participants will be asked to (prior to the workshop) write down your most recent dream and bring it to class. If you don’t remember your dreams, bring a written short paragraph of a coincidence or a synchronicity that you experienced. You and your instructor will examine the meaning of your dream based on Jungian philosophies and methods of Carl G. Jung.

What’s Your Money Story?

It’s about your relationship with your money over the course of your life. The good, the bad and the ugly. It’s about the beliefs and behaviors we inherited from our parents or others around us, and the positive or negative affect it’s had on us and our financial situation.
