SUNY Sullivan will host a variety of events across campus in celebration of Earth Day on Thursday, April 19 from 10 am – 3 pm. Campus clubs and organizations as well as community groups will participate in the celebration, including SUNY Sullivan’s Earth Guardians and the college’s Garden Club.

Vendors will be exhibiting and handing out promotional and educational materials throughout the E, F and G Buildings. Additionally, guests can enjoy a Climate Change Art Show in the D Lobby, as well as participate in campus-wide sustainability tours.

At 10 am and 12 noon, visitors can enjoy the Simmons LIVE Wildlife Show in the Seelig Theater. Andrew Simmons, a celebrated lecturer and entertainer, was part of the original sleepover program team at the American Museum of Natural History and was invited back to participate in the Night at the Museum program. Simmons live show features such animals as lion cubs, tiger cubs and bear cubs, as well as eagles, owls and alligators.
