Sullivan Athlete Earns School’s First Track & Field National Championship

Sophomore James Tierney, a graduate of Tri-Valley High School in Neversink, New York, became the first National Champion in program history over the weekend with a victory in the 400 M hurdles.

Competing in the NJCAA DIII Men’s Track & Field Championships held over the weekend at Mohawk Valley Community College, Tierney bested the field with a time of 55.25. Congratulations to James and the entire Track & Field program.
