Billy Steeves performs in the competition’s finals
Billy Steeves, a competitor for the Musical Theater Scholarship, made it all the way to the finals. His final performance was slated to go last because the judges thought his performance would end the night with a bang!
Jadzia Devis, a competitor for the Stage Management Scholarship, also made it to the finals.
Other students that competed included: Brandon Channel, Audra Furphy, Amanda Murns, Peter Reardon (in both acting and design), Brandon Powell, Julia Kehrley, Jaclyn Hatt, and Payton Powell.
SUNY Sullivan was also invited to show a scene from their recent production of ANGELS IN AMERICA: MILLENNIUM APPROACHES, as an example of the exemplary work occurring in the region. The students’ performances and adjunct professor Nick Lopez’s direction were commended after the showing.
