Join Sullivan Renaissance on a virtual tour as we explore the activation of public spaces through performance arts. Discover how performance art can transform a space; its powerful impact on communities and neighborhoods; and how the public affects the performance through audience engagement. Interviewees will also discuss the cultural and economic benefits of performance art to a community and region.
Featured Artists will be Tal Beery, Chief Development Officer at Hurleyville Performing Arts Centre, Tannis Kowalchuk, Artistic Director and Founder of Farm Arts Collective, Andrew Trombley and Akikko Hosoi, Co-founders of the Sullivan County Chamber Orchestra, Chuck Sommer of the Callicoon Center Band, along with Irene Nickolai, creator of Porchfest Callicoon.
