Cost: $229 per person/$224 seniors - 6 classesDate: Saturdays, March 21 - April 25 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Location: F118
Presenter: Hudson Cooper
Join your instructor, working actor and writer, Hudson Cooper with over 20 years of experience in multiple recurring roles on many network shows (Detective Jefferies on Law & Order: Criminal Intent and more). Everyone has an idea that they think would make a good movie or television show. But just thinking about it won’t make it a reality. In this class learn how to develop that idea into a written script. Unlike most writing classes that just concentrate on the mechanics, this class will also help you develop your own screenplay or teleplay! Learn how to develop realistic dialogue, make the characters come alive and move the plot to a logical ending. To paraphrase Rod Stewart… ”Every picture comes from a story, don’t it.” Now let’s turn your story into a script. Participants will need to bring their laptop to class. Ages 15 and up. Space is limited.
