CARBURETOR: A GHOST SONATA offers a unique theatrical experience as it explores the neurodiverse perspective, focusing on how individuals on the autism spectrum process grief, experience love, and interact with the world around them. The play is presented through non-verbal storytelling, with minimal reliance on traditional, linear narrative. It aims to show how emotions are deeply felt and expressed without language, paralleling the way many neurodiverse individuals navigate life. In the world of musical theater, a character may sing when emotions run too high to speak, and they may dance when words and singing are not enough. In CARBURETOR: A GHOST SONATA, this concept is adapted to explore the internal noise and emotional overload experienced by non-verbal and non-speaking autistics.
