Part 602 of State Education Law, Community College Regulations, states:

“Upon request by a student who is an eligible veteran, the payment of tuition and fees, less the amounts payable for such purposes from scholarship or other financial assistance awarded said veteran pursuant to article 13 or 130 of the Education Law or any other community college, State or Federal financial aid program, shall be deferred in such amounts and until such times as the several payments of veterans’ benefits under the Veterans’ Readjustment Benefit Act of 1966, as amended, are received by the veteran, provided that the veteran has filed a claim for such benefits and presents to the community college proof of eligibility, extent of entitlement to benefits, and the need for deferral until the receipt of such benefits. The board of trustees of a community college may promulgate such additional regulations and procedures, not inconsistent with this section, as may be required to facilitate implementation of this regulation.”

Payments may be made by cash, check, Master Card, Discover Card, VISA, or money order payable to “Sullivan County Community College.”

You may also make payments at my.sunysullivan.edu. To submit a payment:

  • Log in using your My SUNY Sullivan user name and password.
  • Choose “Student Tab”
  • Click “Account Information”
  • Click “Account Balance”
  • Click “$ Due”
  • Click “Make Payment"

  • All students are encouraged to apply for financial aid as soon as possible in the year in which they plan to attend SUNY Sullivan.

You may view your account status via My SUNY Sullivan at any time and you may make online payments 24/7, though payments made after 4 p.m. will be considered as having been paid the following day.

As changes are made to your account they will be posted in real time.

Your payment may be made in full (see above) or you may use the Monthly Payment Plan.

FACTS PAYMENT PLAN (e-cashier) – CURRENT SEMESTER AUTOMATIC PAYMENT PLAN

SUNY Sullivan has contracted with NELNET BUSINESS SOLUTIONS to assist our students with paying for college. To sign up for the service, you will need your student ID #, the amount due for the current semester, your banking account information (checking or savings) or a credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, OR DISCOVER.)

Please do not assume your balance will automatically be adjusted if you receive financial aid or if a class is dropped.

You should review your agreement balance.

Please email billing@sunysullivan.edu to make any adjustments or changes to your contract.

In either case, you must make the required payment on or before the due date (Aug. 12 for fall bills, and on or about Jan. 7 for spring bills).

Application Fees

  • New Part-time Students Using the SUNY Sullivan Application: No charge
  • New Full-time Students (12 or more credits) using the SUNY APC: $50.00
    • Note: SUNY APC is Payable to the State University of New York and is non-refundable.

Administrative Fees

  • Returned Check Fee: $50
  • Late Payment Fee: $50 per late payment

FACTS Tuition Payment Plan

  • Full one-time payment, set by Nelnet: $1
  • Multi payment plan per semester, set by Nelnet: $35

Transcript Fees

  • Academic: $7.50 per copy
  • Financial Aid Transcript, no charge
  • Credit by Examination or Evaluation $40 per credit
  • Immunization Record $10 per request

International Student Fees

  • International Student Fee: $500.00 Per Semester
  • International Student Health Insurance: Pending

Parking Fees

  • Parking Fee: $12.50 per semester
  • Parking Fine Violation:
    • $25 first violation
    • $50 second violation
    • $100 plus the cost of towing for every repeat violation
  • Handicap Parking Violation:
    • $50 first violation
    • $100 second violation
    • $150 plus cost of towing for every repeat violation

Faculty Student Association Fees*

  • General Activities Fee (Fall and Spring semesters only):
    • Full-Time Students $156 per semester
    • Part-Time Students $ 13 per credit hour
  • Graduation Fee
    • $50 for first degree
    • $25 for each additional degree
    • $25 for Replacement degree

*Covers student activities, athletics, ID card and other services

Library Fees

  • Card Fee: $10 per year (non-student/local resident)
  • Lost Book Fee: Cost of the replacement book
  • Request for information Copy: $.25 per page
  • Request for Information on Disc: $ 5 Plus $.25 per page
