TRAINING PROGRAM

Launch Your Healthcare Career at SUNY Sullivan!

Ready for a fulfilling career where you make a daily impact? SUNY Sullivan’s hands-on CNA training program provides the essential knowledge and experience to confidently care for patients in various healthcare settings.

You will:

  • Gain practical skills in patient care (personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, etc.) under licensed nurse supervision.
  • Benefit from classroom learning and supervised clinical rotations.
  • Be qualified to sit for the state certification exam for Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs).

This program is ideal for:

  • Individuals seeking a fresh start or career transition into healthcare.
  • Those desiring a stable and purposeful profession.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a Sullivan County resident
  • 18+ years old
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Able to pass background check, fingerprinting & drug test
  • Valid NYS driver's license & reliable transportation
  • Must be willing, ready & able to work up to 40 hours per week upon completion
