Taste the pride in the dishes that students are preparing and give them the confidence to enter the local industry and beyond.

The Catskill Hospitality Institute at SUNY Sullivan is excited to invite you to its fall 2024 Culinary Dinner Series. On select Thursday nights (October 31st & November 14th), the Institute offers a traditional dinner prepared and served by our culinary students and their chef instructors. This dining experience will help students satisfy their curriculum needs while allowing guests to enjoy a delicious dinner and learn about our Culinary Arts Program.

Each ticket purchase includes a four-course meal and one signature mocktail. Additional beverages will be available for purchase. Please note any dietary restrictions during the ticket purchase process.

Tickets are sold on time to ensure a reservation-style service. We ask you to please adhere to the ticket time you purchased. Any reservation to arrive after 6 pm may not be accommodated.

The course, Restaurant Operations, is designed to introduce Culinary Arts students to kitchens and dining rooms in the hospitality industry. Students practice concepts and skills learned in the Culinary Arts Program at SUNY Sullivan in a restaurant setting and are introduced to the dining room and beverage service. Preparation, production, menu planning, costing, personnel needs, dining room arrangements, and various types of service are all covered in the course. Students work all stations in the kitchen, dining room, and beverage service areas, rotating to become proficient in all aspects of food preparation and dining room service.
