The Homestead Restaurant and Lounge at the Eldred Preserve in Eldred, NY is seeking staff for the pantry, as well as Line Cooks to handle saute, fryer, and grillwork. Duties include:
- Possess basic knife, prep and cooking skills
- Be able to follow recipes and work independently as well as with a team
- Be able to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Ensure the kitchen operates at New York food safety standards (HACCP)
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace
- Possess efficient time management skills
- Be able to work standing most of the day and to lift 50 pounds
Full-time salary is $30,000 – $40,000 per year based upon experience. Part-time positions are available. Nights, weekends, and holidays are required.
