Accessing Online Accounts
There are a few systems on campus that you need to check in with regularly and know how to access. Read and click the links below to access the information. Get access to all of your Course Accounts by the first week of classes. Download the How to Access My SUNY Sullivan, SulliMail, and Brightspace or use the directions below:
- My SUNY Sullivan is SUNY Sullivan’s student portal, which plays host to all of your information including:
- Registration
- Student billing
- Grades
- Financial aid
- Housing
- Acceptance
- Current schedule
- Course history (includes grades, 3rd, & 5th weekly progress reports, midterm grades, final grades, and financial information)
My SUNY Sullivan is also where students can drop and add classes and determine what classes they need.
- NetworkID (Username) allows you access to the campus computers and library services on campus. Without this account setup, you will have very limited access to technology on campus. The Network ID also gives you free digital storage space on campus to store your homework and classwork.
- SulliMail is another account you should know how to log into and check daily. Campus departments and instructors will communicate through email with important announcements.
- Brightspace is a cloud-based learning platform built by educators, for educators that works on any device. It is a secure, reliable platform that lets you create engaging courses using your technology to fit your needs.
- Open SUNY Navigator is a searchable tool that provides information on SUNY Sullivan’s online course offerings.
How to Access My SUNY Sullivan Web Portal, Email & Brightspace
Your computer account information to access My SUNY Sullivan, SulliMail, and Brightspace are usually available one week prior to the start of the semester. However, if you register just prior to the start of the semester, it may take up to two business days after your registration is keyed at SUNY Sullivan to access your accounts.
Students who have never used MY SUNY Sullivan or SulliMail, please follow the directions below:
- Go to MY SUNY Sullivan.
- Click on the dropdown menu in the upper right corner next to "Search".
- Locate “Tools” grouping and click on “MY SUNY Sullivan” (lower right corner).
- Locate “Student Account lookup” in the lower right corner under “Welcome to SUNY Sullivan”.
- Key in a student ID number, last name, and ZIP code. Student ID# is located on your schedule, the printed receipt from the student billing or the SLN letter received from registration services,
- Click on “View AUP” and read it.
- Click the box in front of “I agree to the SUNY Sullivan Acceptable Use Policy”.
Copy this information and keep it in a safe place. If, in the future, you experience problems with accessing your account, please go to the IT Help Desk in G010 for help.
- Go to MY SUNY Sullivan.
- Key in your username and password in the upper right corner and click on “Login.”
- Go to MY SUNY Sullivan.
- Click on the dropdown menu in the upper right corner of the page.
- Click on “MY SUNY Sullivan” under the “Tools” grouping.
- Click on the “SulliMail” link in the lower left corner and enter your username and password (your “username followed” by the @sunysullivan.edu). Note that your password for your email may be different than your “My SUNY Sullivan” password.
- Go to MY SUNY Sullivan.
- Click on the dropdown in the upper right corner of the web page.
- Click on “MY SUNY Sullivan” under the “Tools” grouping.
- Locate and click the “Brightspace” link in the lower left corner and enter your username and password.
- You may also navigate straight to Brightspace.
