Frequently named as one of the top community colleges in New York State, SUNY Sullivan offers a number of 2-year programs that pave the way toward earning a Bachelor’s degree at a 4-year college or university.

Each of our transfer programs offers a strong foundation for students interested in furthering their education. Students can transfer to a wide range of 4-year degrees, including:

  • biology
  • chemistry
  • physics
  • mathematics
  • environmental science
  • forestry
  • pre-med
  • nursing
  • pre-physical therapy, and more!

With a solid education of which they can be proud, our graduates can go on to rewarding professional careers as diverse as wildlife biologists, chemical engineers, veterinarians, physicians, mathematicians, educators, computer support specialists, video game designers and developers, computer programmers, and systems analysts.

We offer degrees that allow you to transfer your credits seamlessly to SUNY’s 4-year schools, including SUNY Delhi, SUNY New Paltz and SUNY Cobleskill.

SUNY Transfer Paths let you see the common lower division requirements shared by all SUNY campuses for similar majors. These paths help you plan your core coursework at SUNY Sullivan so that you can successfully graduate and transfer to a SUNY four-year college to earn your Bachelor’s degree.

SUNY Sullivan also has articulation/transfer agreements with many other colleges and universities beyond the SUNY system. Our students have gone on to graduate from colleges such as Syracuse University, Franklin University, University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), John Jay College of Criminal Justice, Lehman College, Dominican College, Savannah College of Art & Design, and more.

Our mission is to provide staff and resources to recruit, counsel and accept all eligible prospective students for SUNY Sullivan enrollment. To support a rich and rewarding college experience for its students. Admissions recruits a diverse student body from both within the Sullivan County Community and beyond. Information regarding SUNY Sullivan’s academic programs, student life and the enrollment process is promoted by Admissions through a variety of means to enhance prospective students’ academic careers and Sullivan County’s workforce.
