The Sullivan County Human Rights Commission is Seeking an Activist for a More Just World

If so, you may be eligible for a $1000 scholarship!

The Eileen Haworth Weil Memorial Scholarship is given annually in memory of Eileen Haworth Weil, a former professor at SUNY Sullivan, who was one of the founders of the SC Human Rights Commission, and a tireless worker for Peace & Justice.

TO APPLY

Please write an essay describing in 300 words or less any volunteer work you have done and how you envision yourself working for a better world.

If your submission is selected for consideration, you will be contacted for an interview with the Commission, who will then select the scholarship winner for this year.
