The SUNY Sullivan Generals Boys and Girls Summer Baseball Camp is accepting applications for its 2023 summer camp, which open to boys and girls ages 7–17 and takes place August 14–18 on the SUNY Sullivan campus.
Committed to a philosophy of developing fundamental skills and a broad understanding of the game, the camp works to improve skills through individual instruction, drills, lectures and games. The Generals Baseball camp is run by the 2023 Region 15 Champions coaching staff. Former and future players will serve as camp counselors. Several SUNY Sullivan Youth Baseball Camp “alumni” have gone on to very successful high school and college baseball careers.
The camp’s goal is to lead campers to develop their own basic skills. The Generals staff will cover fundamentals of hitting, fielding ground balls, catching fly balls, and base running. At the completion of camp, participants will receive a detailed evaluation of their progress along with specific drills to improve their own skill development. Every camper will go home with valuable baseball knowledge and countless memories of good times and warm friendships.
The Generals baseball camp is open to boys and girls ages 7–17. It takes place August 14–18 on the SUNY Sullivan campus, 112 College Road, Loch Sheldrake, NY 12759. Camp times are Monday–Thursday from 9 am–3 pm and Friday from 9 am–12 pm. The fee is $175 per camper. There are discounts for SUNY Sullivan employees, as well as multi-child and group discounts.
