Fall celebration features trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt, student bake sale, and opportunities for prospective students and families
SUNY Sullivan invites community members, prospective students, and families to campus Friday, October 30, for FallFest: Candy, College & Community and the college’s Admissions Open House. Both events will take place 4 p.m.-6 p.m. at SUNY Sullivan, 112 College Road in Loch Sheldrake.
FallFest will bring Halloween fun to campus with trick-or-treating, a festive scavenger hunt, an expansive bake sale hosted by Culinary Arts students from SUNY Sullivan’s Catskill Hospitality Institute, and more. Community members are invited to bring family and friends. No RSVP is required for FallFest.
Prospective students and their families can also take advantage of SUNY Sullivan’s Admissions Open House during the event. Attendees can meet with the Admissions team, explore academic programs, get help completing a free application, and learn about financial aid, scholarships, and student support. Campus tours will begin at 4:30 p.m.
Students who complete a free application and bring their transcript or GED can also complete the admissions process during the event. Open House attendees can learn more about scholarship opportunities including the Sullivan Promise Scholarship and SUNY Reconnect, along with other financial aid and student-support resources.
“FallFest and the Open House are great opportunities to welcome our neighbors and friends, families and prospective students to our beautiful campus,” said SUNY Sullivan President David Potash. “It’s a great celebration and visitors get to learn more about the college, meeting our team, and exploring the many opportunities available here.”
The Admissions Open House is free, and walk-ins are welcome. FallFest is open to the community and does not require registration. For information about FallFest, visit sunysullivan.edu/fallfest/.
