Getting Started with Financial Aid After Applying for Admission
All students interested in receiving financial aid must annually complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is available on October 1 for the following academic year. SUNY Sullivan’s Federal School Code is 002879.
New York State residents should complete the TAP application at the end of the FAFSA. If you’ve already submitted your FAFSA, you can access the TAP application on the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) website. New York State residents should also look into the Excelsior Scholarship, which has separate requirements and a separate application.
Financial aid documents can be tracked, and your award letter viewed, through the My SUNY Sullivan portal. You should use the log-in information that you used for your admissions application or the information you received once you registered for classes.
