The Residence Hall Application must be submitted along with the certificate of residency from the county in which the student resides. Please note that in most cases, the certificate of residency can not be obtained until 60 days prior to the start of class. If your Residence Hall Application is submitted without the certificate of residency, it will not be processed until the certificate is received.

STEPS

  1. Print, and complete the Residence Hall Application.
  2. Print the appropriate certificate of residency for the county in which the student resides (forms available at sunysullivan.edu/admissions-aid/cost-financial-aid/student-accounts/ on the right-hand side of the page).
  3. Take the certificate of residency to the government location specified in the form, along with necessary proofs of residency, to have the form completed and notarized.
  4. Submit both the Residence Hall Application and certificate of residency.
