Community event features local makers, holiday shopping, and support for the SUNY Sullivan Food Pantry
SUNY Sullivan invites the community to shop local and get an early start on holiday gift-giving at its Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, November 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at the college’s Paul Gerry Fieldhouse, 112 College Road in Loch Sheldrake. Admission and parking are free.
Shoppers can browse holiday décor, woodwork, pottery, clothing, food items, jewelry, gifts, art, and other locally made goods from participating vendors.
Attendees are also encouraged to bring donations for the SUNY Sullivan Food Pantry, including canned and boxed foods, shelf-safe beverages, toiletries, baby wipes, disposable diapers, and other pantry essentials. Donations can be dropped off at SUNY Sullivan’s table during the event, and a portion of event proceeds will also benefit the food pantry.
Artists, crafters, and makers are invited to apply to participate as vendors. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and applications are due Wednesday, November 11. Interested vendors are encouraged to apply early, as spaces may fill before the deadline.
